Even on the dullest day ever, the sun’s UV rays penetrate the earth’s surface. This means they are also penetrating your skin. Therefore, you need protection, pronto. Break out the sunscreen!

And remember: doubling-up on sunscreen by using make-up with sunscreen in addition to your regular sunscreen doesn’t increase the protection. Many doctors say that you will be better off using a stronger sunscreen, then applying your make-up on top of that. If you are going to be outside all day or participating in activities that cause excessive sweating, reapply your sunscreen according to the label’s instructions.

So give your skin some love and protection, no matter how cloudy!
