Americans are getting fatter, and they want quicker fixes for that.
Laser-assisted liposuction was first introduced in 2007. It heats and liquifies fat through lasers, supposedly making it easier to vacuum away from the body. Advocates claim it reduces bruising and scarring, plus provides more skin-tightening.
But not all plastic surgeons advocate this method.
