Celebrity stylist Ted Gibson says that the waves are riding high this spring.

At least when it comes to hair.

Spring looks are full of wavy hair trends. These are sexy styles that are easy to achieve, so all that’s really needed is a curling iron and some spritz according to Gibson in a New Beauty article about spring hair trends.

To achieve:

• Use volumizing spray all over the head and a round brush.

• Apply gel to the ends of the hair to ensure smoothness.

• Depending on the wave desired, use a medium to large barrel curling iron. Wrap the hair around the curling iron in one-inch sections, but leave the ends of the hair out. Smaller curling irons mean tighter waves.

• Hold for five seconds and release. Set with hair spray.
