Beauty experts and doctors can’t seem to agree about yogurt skin benefits.
Sometimes they recommend it, sometimes they say it does nothing.
One thing that yogurt does is provide the body with lactic acid, which has been shown to make the skin slightly softer. It may also help with skin sensitivities, such as mouth rashes. People who suffer those usually don’t produce enough stomach acid.
However, many doctors feel that there are better ways to improve the skin than yogurt because it is not possible to eat enough yogurt to reap such benefits.
