A recent German study comparing three commonly used hyaluronic acids found that the treatments achieved very similar results. The study compared the dermal fillers Belotero, Restylane, and Juvederm, specifically in the treatment of nasolabial folds, otherwise known as “smile lines”.
The study showed that all three treatments were similarly effective when measured at follow-ups of six, nine, and twelve months.
