Anxiety Disorders May Lead to Premature Aging

A survey on 5,243 women’s blood samples aged between 42 and 69 ends up explaining that Telomeres are getting shortened due to various phobic anxieties and provides a resemblance of extra older women’s sample. Telomere shortening has been linked to heart disease, cancer and dementia. This survey study has found a link between psychological stress, phobic anxiety and the condition of premature aging. Thus by treating the phobic anxiety of women we can avoid premature aging.
