Facial yoga practitioners believe that working out the face muscles with a series of stretches will tighten and tone the face the same way it does for the body. But moving the face this way actually makes wrinkles worse.
Wrinkles are caused by three major factors: the sun, natural aging, and activity of the facial muscles. Facial yoga moves the face in such a way that the wrinkles will not improve, but get worse.
The only things that prevent aging are a healthy skin-care routine and/or injectables like Botox that help relax the facial muscles.
