Reality star and author Bethenny Frankel recently discussed Botox, as The Real Housewives of New York cast member has been accused of undergoing plastic surgery numerous times. She has never used invasive surgery to keep her looking fresh and youthful, but instead prefers Botox. The injectable toxin is one of many anti-aging procedures available through the Beverly Hills dermatologists at The Kopelson Clinic.
Into The Jawline
Frankel has addressed speculation about her changing jawline, which is indeed due to Botox injections.
“I’ve gotten Botox in other areas and then starting about three years ago, my dermatologist said to me, ‘Why don’t we try injecting your jaw ‘cause it’s so tense,‘” the star told The Daily Mail about the noticeable difference in her jawline. Frankel, like so many people, suffers from bruxism, or teeth grinding and clenching. A nightguard combined with Botox in her jawline has alleviated the condition, with the reality star noting her jaw is much more relaxed.
“I showed him the pictures,” Frankel remarked about the photo proof she showed her dermatologist. “You can see that my jaw has completely changed because it’s like a muscle, it’s like lifting weights.”
No Invasive Surgeries, Thanks
The creator of the Skinnygirl cocktail remains steadfast about never receiving facelifts or any other invasive cosmetic surgeries save a breast augmentation a few years back.
“I’ve have done Botox — I don’t do it religiously, like maybe once a year when I think of it I’ll be like, ‘Oh I look like a Shar-Pei, let me do that,’ but I have not had invasive plastic surgery, I have not had a nose job, I have not had anything done. I have had Botox in my jaw, I am so excited because I looked at the pictures I do look different.”
